Stjornarfoss Waterfall

Stjornarfoss Waterfall flows down a series of basalt steps, forming several distinct cascades. The water spreads evenly across the rock, creating a broad frontal view. The waterfall is fed by a small river originating in the nearby highlands. A short path leads to viewpoints near the base of the falls. Stjornarfoss is often visited as a brief stop along the Ring Road area.
