These Terms of Service govern your use of the YowJourney website (yowjourney.com).

1. Definitions

  • Service — the YowJourney website (yowjourney.com)
  • User — any person using the Service

By using the Service, you confirm that you:

  • Have read and agreed to these Terms
  • Have the right to enter into this agreement
  • Have read our Privacy Policy, which explains how we process personal data

3. Service Description

YowJourney provides:

  • Informational materials about travel destinations
  • Interactive maps and navigation links
  • Travel articles and guides
  • Favorites and visited places, saved in your browser
  • Partner offers of tours and activities from GetYourGuide, shown in a widget and as links (see section 6.3)

4. User Responsibilities

4.1 General responsibilities:

  • Not violate rights of other people
  • Comply with legislation when using the Service

4.2 Prohibited actions:

  • Copyright violation and intellectual property infringement
  • Hacking attempts or security breaches
  • Distributing malicious software

5. Personal Data

How we process personal data (on what legal bases, who receives it, how long it is kept and how it is protected) and what rights you have is described in our Privacy Policy. Our Cookies Policy describes cookies and browser storage, analytics with Google Analytics, the GetYourGuide widget and how to reject them. Google Analytics and the GetYourGuide widget work by default from the first page you view until you reject them in the cookie banner; you can change your choice at any time via at the bottom of every page except the full-screen map.

6. Limitation of Liability

6.1 Information provision:

  • Information provided "as is"
  • We do not guarantee accuracy of all data
  • Not liable for decisions based on information

6.2 Technical availability:

  • Do not guarantee constant Service availability
  • Technical interruptions possible for maintenance
  • Not liable for unavailability damage

6.3 Third-party services:

  • Links may lead to third-party websites and services
  • We are not responsible for their content, prices, availability or bookings
  • Bookings and purchases are made directly with the provider under its own terms
  • Some links and widgets are partner (affiliate) links; on the page they are labelled "Paid links"
  • If you book after following such a link, we may receive a commission from the partner
  • Bookings with GetYourGuide are made on the GetYourGuide website under its own terms and privacy policy; we are not a party to the booking

7. Termination of Use

7.1 User termination:

  • You can stop using the Service at any time
  • You can delete your saved data by clearing this site's data in your browser

We may restrict access to the Service:

  • For violation of these Terms
  • When required by law or a regulator

8. Agreement Changes

8.1 Change notification:

  • Changes are published on this page, and the "Last updated" date at the top is updated
  • Changes take effect when they are published

8.2 Agreement to changes:

  • Continued use after changes are published means acceptance
  • If you disagree, you can stop using the Service

9.2 Consumer rights:
