Yosa de Sobremonte

Yosa de Sobremonte

Yosa de Sobremonte is an authentic Pyrenean village perched high above the Gallego River basin in the Sobremonte area. Part of the Biescas municipality, it preserves traditional stone architecture with conical chimneys adapted to mountain life. The village is surrounded by oak and beech forests that change dramatically with the seasons. Its elevated position provides wide views over green valleys and distant snow covered ridges. Today Yosa de Sobremonte is valued as a quiet base for hiking routes leading to hidden gorges and mountain passes.
