El Xarco Beach

El Xarco Beach is a spacious shoreline of large pebbles and stones located in a quiet suburb of the town of Villajoyosa. The main architectural landmark here is the Torre del Xarco, built in the sixteenth century to protect against pirates. The clear water and rocky seabed in this part of the town of Villajoyosa provide excellent conditions for observing fish in their natural habitat. It is one of the few beaches in the region where pets are officially allowed, making it a favorite spot for walks. The lack of developed infrastructure allows visitors to fully enjoy the pristine beauty of the coast.
