Arco Cave

Arco Cave is one of the most significant archaeological and natural sites in Almadenes Canyon. The cave contains evidence of both Neanderthals and modern humans (Sapiens). Its rock shelter with a natural arch dominates the slope, overlooking the Segura river. The surrounding landscape is quiet and rugged, with sun-baked stone and sparse vegetation evoking a prehistoric atmosphere. The monumental arch and clean lines of the rock create a sense of timeless elegance, blending natural power with echoes of ancient architecture.
