Cantos de Visera Archaeological Site

Cantos de Visera Archaeological Site is one of the most important collections of Levantine rock art, included in the UNESCO World Heritage list. The surrounding landscape is quiet and rugged, with rocky slopes and sun-baked vegetation. Natural rock overhangs (“viseras”) protect the pictographs, forming a cohesive and impressive ensemble. From its elevated position, the site dominates the valley, offering views largely unchanged since the Neolithic.
