Los Picarzos Limestone Spires

About the place
Los Picarzos are towering limestone spires formed by millions of years of erosion. The mountain massif was gradually carved into sharp vertical needles reminiscent of Gothic cathedrals. The landscape here is quiet and austere, surrounded by stone giants guarding the valley below. The site forms a unified natural ensemble where rhythmic vertical rock teeth repeat across the slope. The sheer walls attract climbers and photographers drawn to their dramatic geometry. At the base of the spires, the terrain drops into a deep gorge traced by the Mundo River.
