Pozo de las Palomas

Pozo de las Palomas is located upstream from the main reservoir, where the Mijares River preserves its natural clarity and flow. Over thousands of years, limestone erosion has sculpted a deep, rounded basin that collects cool, crystalline water. The surrounding canyon walls are draped with mosses, shrubs, and scattered pine trees, creating a striking contrast with the rugged cliffs.
