Sandinies

About the place
Sandinies is a traditional mountain village in the upper Tena Valley, standing at an altitude of nearly 1300 meters. The village preserves narrow stone streets, historic coats of arms on facades, and classic Pyrenean chimneys. Its elevated position gives Sandinies the reputation of a natural balcony overlooking the Gallego and Calares river confluence. From the village, wide views open toward the Bubal Reservoir and the surrounding mountain ridges. The calm rural atmosphere makes Sandinies a place to experience the authentic and quiet side of the Pyrenees.
