Artrutx Lighthouse

About the place
Built in 1858, Artrutx Lighthouse stands 45 metres tall on Cap d'Artrutx, Menorca's southern tip in the Balearic Islands. Originally a navigational landmark, it now houses a Minorcan restaurant that has become a destination in its own right. The terrace is west-facing with panoramic Mediterranean views, making it particularly appealing at sunset. The kitchen serves both casual drinks and full meals; staff are attentive and flexible, rearranging tables under cover during rain. Access is straightforward: drive to the site (free parking available) or walk from nearby Cala'n Bosch harbour. Wheelchair-accessible parking, entrance, and facilities are provided.
