Jesters of Arenillas

About the place
The Jesters of Arenillas consist of vertical shafts connecting sea caves to the surface of the cliffs. When waves hit the shoreline with force, seawater is propelled upward, sometimes reaching heights of twenty meters. This natural phenomenon produces a deep roaring sound that can be heard from a significant distance. The columns of water and compressed air erupt through the cracks, creating a fountain effect in the middle of coastal fields. This site is part of a protected network of natural monuments along the region's eastern coast.
