Lanuza

About the place
Lanuza is a mountain village located on the shores of the Lanuza Reservoir in the Tena Valley. The village was partially submerged in the 1970s but later restored by its former residents. Traditional stone and slate buildings rise directly from the water, creating a cinematic silhouette. The surrounding peaks of the Formigal ridge reflect in the calm reservoir, enhancing the dramatic setting. Lanuza hosts the Pirineos Sur music festival, where stages float on the water, combining culture and nature in a unique spectacle.
