Lanuza Reservoir

About the place

Lanuza Reservoir is an artificial lake in the heart of the Tena Valley. It was formed by a dam on the Gallego River, filling the valley basin with clear turquoise water. The surrounding granite slopes rise steeply, creating dramatic reflections and alpine scenery. The two-headed Peña Forata dominates the horizon, adding a majestic backdrop to the lake. Lanuza Reservoir serves as a center for water sports and cultural events, including floating stages for the Pirineos Sur festival.
