Liguerre de Cinca Palace House

Liguerre de Cinca Palace House

About the place

Liguerre de Cinca Palace House is a restored fortified mansion from the sixteenth century. Its square tower and characteristic Aragonese masonry rise above the turquoise waters of the El Grado reservoir. The surrounding cliffs and glacially-carved river valley create a dramatic backdrop. The village was abandoned in the 1960s due to the reservoir, later purchased and revived in the 1980s. Today, the palace combines historical architecture with local wine traditions, offering visitors a vivid journey through Sobrarbe's heritage.
