Mataznos Viewpoint
About the place
Matanyos Viewpoint is located on the TF-21 road (km 19) in the municipality of La Orotava, Tenerife. It sits at approximately 1,248 m above sea level on the edge of a forested slope covered with native plants such as heather, xerophytes, and wild strawberries. From this point, visitors can enjoy expansive views of the La Orotava Valley, the El Rincón coastal slope, the Tigaiga ridges, and the silhouette of Mount Teide. There is parking and basic facilities for visitors to stop, take photos, and enjoy nature.
