Pancha Island

About the place
Pancha Island and its lighthouses form a maritime navigation complex featuring two structures from different historical periods. The original lighthouse, built in 1857, consists of a square building with a nine-meter central tower. A newer automated tower was added in 1983, designed as a concrete cylinder with distinctive black and white stripes. Currently, the historic lighthouse building has been repurposed as an exclusive tourist hotel. Together, these buildings on the rocky plateau clearly demonstrate the technical evolution of Spain's maritime signaling systems.
