Moledo Beach

Moledo Beach stands out for its geological structure, where large stone formations emerge from the sand like isolated islands shaped by Atlantic erosion. Unlike nearby beaches dominated by arches and corridors, this coastline is defined by vertical masses and compact rock groups arranged in a clear visual rhythm. The surrounding landscape remains quiet and restrained, with fewer visitors and an unobstructed presence of wind and waves. During high tide, many of the rock formations become surrounded by water, reinforcing their appearance as natural fortresses rising from the ocean. The dark slate texture and sharp edges of the cliffs emphasize the sculptural quality of the shoreline and its untouched character.
