Pont d'en Gil

Pont d'en Gil

About the place

A massive limestone arch juts into the Mediterranean on Menorca's rugged northwestern coast, just past the resort area of Los Delfines. Formed by thousands of years of wave and wind erosion, the arch is large enough for small boats to navigate through when the sea is calm. Visitors gather on the clifftop to watch the sun drop directly below the horizon, framing the arch in colour. A short walk along the historic Camí de Cavalls coastal path leads from the car park to the site.
