Portela Viewpoint

The Portela Viewpoint is located in the eastern part of Madeira Island, between the towns of Porto da Cruz and Machico. It offers a breathtaking view of the northeast coast, green valleys, and the massive Penha de Águia rising above the ocean. The site is equipped with parking and rest areas, making it perfect for photos and a short stop during your trip. On clear days, you can even see the eastern peninsula of Ponta de São Lourenço.
