Serra Gelada Natural Park

About the place
The Serra Gelada Natural Park covers a coastal mountain range and its surrounding waters between Benidorm and Altea. The most striking feature of the park is its massive limestone cliffs that rise over three hundred meters above the sea level. Several popular hiking trails cross the territory, leading visitors to historic lighthouses and abandoned ochre mines. Due to its specific microclimate, the park is home to rare plant species and protected colonies of seabirds. Numerous viewpoints along the ridges offer breathtaking vistas of secluded rocky coves and the vast Mediterranean horizon.
