Cortes de Pallas

Cortes de Pallas

Cortes de Pallas is a picturesque high mountain village, representing a unique settlement wedged between sheer cliffs and the turquoise waters of the Jucar River. The narrow streets of Cortes de Pallas climb steeply, offering panoramas of the surrounding gorges and hydroelectric structures. Due to its remote location, the village has preserved an authentic atmosphere and serves as a starting point for numerous hiking trails to waterfalls and caves. Cortes de Pallas is considered one of the most striking examples of human habitation integrated into the rugged and monumental nature of the region.
