Lake Carezza

About the place
Lake Carezza is a small alpine lake in the Dolomites, located in South Tyrol in northern Italy. It lies at an altitude of approximately 1,520–1,534 meters at the foot of the Latemar mountain range. The lake is known for its crystal-clear water — often emerald or turquoise — and for the mirror-like reflections of the surrounding mountains and forests on its surface. Water comes from underground springs, so the color, level, and appearance of the lake change depending on the season and weather. The lake is sometimes called the “Rainbow Lake” because of its vivid, shifting colors and magical atmosphere. A gentle walking path circles the lake, making it an excellent spot for a peaceful stroll and relaxation in nature.
