Lake Cavallazza

Lake Cavallazza is a small glacial mountain lake on the northern slopes of Monte Cavallazza in the Lagorai area, Italy. The lake lies above the tree line in a rocky cirque of quartzite porphyry, creating a wild alpine atmosphere. Thanks to its altitude and scenic surroundings of cliffs and ridges, the lake attracts hikers — it can be easily reached from the nearest refuge or combined with hikes to nearby Colbricon and Cavallazza peaks.
