Colbricon Lakes

Colbricon Lakes

About the place

The Colbricon Lakes are two small glacial mountain lakes in the Paneveggio‑Pale di San Martino Natural Park, in the Lagorai range, between Passo Rolle and Colbricon Pass. The lakes lie at about 1,909 m and 1,922 m above sea level, surrounded by rhododendrons, junipers, and alpine vegetation. The area offers a peaceful, untouched mountain setting. The lakes can be reached on foot in 30–40 minutes from the parking near Malga Rolle via the marked SAT 348 trail — a route suitable for all. Near the larger lake stands the Rifugio Laghi di Colbricon, an ideal spot for rest and summer meals.
