Cornisello Lakes

Cornisello Lakes

About the place

The Cornisello Lakes are two glacial mountain lakes in the Nambrone Valley, in the Adamello‑Brenta Natural Park, Italy. They are located at approximately 2,083 m and 2,112 m above sea level, surrounded by high peaks, including Presanella and the Brenta mountain range. The upper lake has milky‑turquoise water due to glacial silt, while the lower lake is shallow and clear. A short walk from Rifugio Cornisello leads to the lakes. From these lakes, trails continue to other lakes and peaks in the valley.
