Lake Tovel
About the place
Lake Tovel is a mountain lake in the Adamello-Brenta Nature Park. It lies at an elevation of 1,178 meters in the Val di Non valley. The lake is known for its crystal-clear turquoise-green waters. It was once famous for a unique “red water” phenomenon caused by algae. A scenic trail circles the lake, offering easy and relaxing walks.
