Pasarelas del Vero

About the place
Pasarelas del Vero follows a deep karst canyon where erosion over millions of years has carved natural arches, grottoes, and pools in the limestone. The curved metal walkways trace the river’s bends, providing unique perspectives on waterfalls and turquoise basins. The route begins in the medieval town of Alquézar, a UNESCO World Heritage site, combining history with natural spectacle. Along the trail, visitors can see the entrance to the Cueva de la Mami with prehistoric rock art, as well as an early 20th-century dam and hydroelectric building integrated into the cliffs. The experience merges adventure, geology, and heritage, offering both breathtaking views and insights into human history.
