Porto do Seixal Beach

Porto do Seixal Beach is a charming black-sand beach on the northern coast of Madeira, in the municipality of Porto Moniz (Seixal area). The beach is located next to the local port, giving it a unique character — combining the calm ocean with marine life. The black volcanic sand contrasts with the green rocky surroundings and steep coastal cliffs. There is no permanent lifeguard service, but there are showers, a bar, and opportunities for kayaking, canoeing, and other water sports.
