Best time to visit
Better: a clear day, when the coastline runs on in both directions and the cliffs read all the way down to the water. One visitor left planning a return trip for sunrise.
Avoid: heavy cloud if it is the far coast you came for — the near cliffs hold up in grey weather, the distance does not.
