Beira da Quinta Viewpoint
About the place
The Beira da Quinta viewpoint is located between the parishes of São Jorge and Arco de São Jorge on the northern coast of Madeira Island, in the municipality of Santana. It offers a wide panorama of the northwest coast — reaching Porto Moniz, with monumental sea cliffs up to approximately 500 m high. The viewpoint is situated at about 469 m above sea level, easily accessible by car, and serves as an ideal stop to admire the natural scenery. On clear days, it is even possible to see the silhouette of Porto Santo Island on the horizon.
