Rebecos Bridge

About the place
Rebecos Bridge is a lightweight yet sturdy metal structure spanning a deep gorge in the Cares Canyon. It replaces older bridges to ensure safety for hikers while maintaining the dramatic character of the route. The bridge is named after the graceful mountain antelopes, or rebecos, often seen on the surrounding cliffs. From the walkway, visitors can admire the turquoise river below and the towering limestone walls that create a vertical spectacle. The contrast between the industrial metal and the raw natural cliffs forms a striking panorama, making the crossing one of the most thrilling moments of the trail.
