Sobron Canyon

About the place
Sobron Canyon is an impressive natural corridor with nearly vertical rock walls rising above the mirror-like surface of the water. Over millennia, the powerful river carved a narrow passage through the stone, forming one of the most scenic gorges in the region. Colonies of vultures nest in the crevices of the cliffs and can be observed from viewpoints or directly from the water. A distinctive microclimate supports dense forests along the slopes, changing color with the seasons. This place reveals a wild and monumental face of nature hidden in the foothills of the Pyrenees.
