Sobron Reservoir

Sobron Reservoir is located in a narrow canyon where the Ebro river cuts through the Montes Obarenes. Its long and winding shape makes it look more like a river flowing between cliffs than a typical artificial lake. Steep limestone walls rise directly from the water, forming a dramatic corridor visible from boats and viewpoints above. High above the surface, large birds glide along the rock faces, using the cliffs as nesting grounds. This setting allows visitors to experience a raw and well preserved river landscape shaped by both water and stone.
