Sa Cova de s Infern Cave

Sa Cova de s Infern Cave was formed over centuries by the erosive force of powerful waves and the northern tramuntana wind. The name, which translates as "Hell’s Cave," refers to the unusual color of the water which can appear reddish under specific light conditions. Sunlight filtering through the openings in the cave roof creates a spectacular display of light on the sea surface. This location is one of the most remote and beautiful spots within the Cap de Creus Natural Park. The site is highly favored by photographers and nature enthusiasts for its rugged and primordial coastal appearance.
