Verdolo Peak

Verdolo Peak is a striking viewpoint in Sierra de Guara, perched above Formiga Canyon and Calcón Reservoir. The ascent reveals deep limestone canyons and rugged plateaus, forming a natural labyrinth. Views of the turquoise water and endless ridges create a mesmerizing landscape, especially at sunset. The cliffs around the peak host nesting sites for large raptors, adding wildlife interest. Historic shepherd trails lead to the summit, now part of the park’s hiking network.
