Font de Marc

About the place
Font de Marc is a small natural lake fed by underground springs, keeping its water cold and clear throughout the year. The site is tucked away from the more popular Albufera de Anna, ensuring tranquility and solitude. Steep rocky slopes and wild vegetation surround the pool, with ruins of an old dye factory (Tinte de la Fuente de Marzo) on its shore. The calm mirrored water reflects the industrial remnants, slowly reclaimed by nature. The lake’s name refers to March, when underground waters rise with greatest force after winter rains, creating a striking seasonal spectacle.
