Giau Pass is a high mountain pass in the Dolomites, at 2,236 m above sea level. From the pass, incredible panoramic views open up to famous Dolomite peaks — Nuvolau, Averau, Marmolada, Tofane, and others. The road through the pass has about 29 sharp hairpin bends and is popular among cyclists. In summer and winter, the pass serves as a starting point for hiking, skiing, and mountaineering routes. The surrounding area features alpine meadows, mountain huts, and breathtaking scenery.
