Cinque Torri

About the place
Cinque Torri is a distinctive rock formation in the Dolomites of northern Italy, made of pale grey dolomite and consisting of several “towers,” the tallest reaching 2361 m. In summer, the area offers hiking trails and climbing routes of varying difficulty, suitable for both beginners and experienced climbers. In winter, Cinque Torri is part of a ski region, with lifts and connections to neighboring mountains. Besides its natural beauty, the site preserves traces of World War I — old trenches and shelters that have been transformed into an open-air museum for visitors.
