Lake Canário

Lake Canário is a picturesque volcanic lake on the island of São Miguel in the Azores, located at an elevation of approximately 745 meters above sea level in the Serra Devassa area. Surrounded by dense forests of cryptomeria and Macaronesian flora, it is part of the Mata do Canário Forest Park and is recognized as a protected landscape area. There are easy hiking trails through the natural surroundings, making it an ideal spot for peaceful relaxation, photography, or a short stop during a journey.
