Los Canones del rio Eliche is a river canyon formed by water cutting through vertical limestone cliffs. The walking route follows the riverbed using metal walkways fixed directly into the rock. Polished stone walls show clear traces of long-term water erosion and narrow the passage in several sections. The enclosed space creates a cooler microclimate even during the hottest summer days. The canyon offers a close and immersive experience of landscape shaped almost entirely by flowing water.
