Barranco de la Luna Trail

About the place
The trail follows a stunning karst gorge located near the white village of Saleres in Granada. Hikers descend into a narrow stone corridor where towering vertical walls create a mystical atmosphere of shadows. The path winds directly along the riverbed, crossing small waterfalls and turquoise pools hidden among lush vegetation. This geological wonder is famous for the sea fossils clearly visible in the ancient limestone layers of the canyon. It is an ideal route for a short trek, offering a unique sensory experience of cool air and flowing water.
