Pisão Bridge
About the place
The Pisão Bridge is an old stone bridge in Madeira, located along several hiking trails. It was built in the 17th–18th centuries as a single-span arch crossing a watercourse. The bridge is part of popular hiking routes and is included in a short walk from Funchal. Its restoration was carried out to improve safety and preserve the walking path.
