Playa de la Arena is an urban black-sand beach located in the Puerto de Santiago area on the southwest coast of Tenerife. The beach is approximately 140 m long and 40 m wide, with volcanic black sand. It has been awarded the "Blue Flag" for high standards of cleanliness and services. Facilities include a promenade with cafes and restaurants, showers, toilets, sunbed and umbrella rentals, and convenient access with parking. The water is clean, and the entry into the sea is gradual. On the west, the island of La Gomera is visible. Ideal for family vacations, coastal walks, and relaxing time by the ocean.
