Playa de la Tejita

Playa de la Tejita is a large natural beach with dark or golden‑dark sand, located on the south of Tenerife, within the municipality of Granadilla de Abona, near the volcanic cone Montaña Roja. The beach is part of a natural reserve, stretching over 1 km in length and up to 30 m in width. Waves and wind here can be stronger, and the beach is partly popular among surfers and kitesurfing enthusiasts. One section of the beach allows nudism. It is ideal for those seeking space, a natural atmosphere, and a chance to avoid large tourist crowds.
