Ribadesella

About the place

Ribadesella is a historic coastal town set at the mouth of the Sella river on the Bay of Biscay. The old town features narrow streets, traditional houses, and a riverside promenade. Across the estuary lies Santa Marina beach, lined with early twentieth century villas built in the Indianos style. The town is also known for Tito Bustillo cave, located within the urban area and famous for prehistoric rock art. Surrounding cliffs, river views, and the open sea create a varied and striking coastal landscape.
