It is the primary center where travelers can obtain trail maps and learn about the park’s environmental guidelines. The center features interactive exhibits on the local ecosystem, specifically the griffon vultures nesting in the area. Visitors, while exploring the scale models and multimedia displays, can learn about the geological formation of the limestone gorge. With convenient parking nearby, the center is the perfect spot to begin a hike toward the iconic Hermitage of San Bartolome.
