Risco Waterfall

Risco Waterfall is an impressive cascade about 100 m high, located in the Rabaçal area on the Paul da Serra plateau on Madeira Island. The water flows down a vertical cliff covered with moss and ferns, creating a “shower wall” effect amid lush greenery. The waterfall can be reached via the Levada do Risco trail (PR 6.1), which passes through laurel forest. It is a popular photo spot and natural landmark, ideal for tourists who appreciate the beauty of wild nature.
