Água d’Alto Waterfall is one of the highest waterfalls in Madeira. It is located near São Vicente on the northern coast of the island. The water falls from a large vertical cliff with a drop of about 80–150 m, creating an impressive cascade. It is a popular photo spot. Visitors should be cautious due to traffic and steep terrain.
