Pico Ruivo
About the place
Pico Ruivo is the highest peak on Madeira Island (1,862 m above sea level), located in the center of the mountain range. It offers panoramic views of the surrounding mountains, valleys, and the Atlantic Ocean. Several popular hiking trails lead to the summit, including the one from Pico do Arieiro. At the top, there is a viewpoint and a mountain shelter for rest. It is one of the most stunning places to experience the sunrise and the natural beauty of Madeira.
