Skull Waterfall

Skull Waterfall

About the place

Skull Waterfall is an atmospheric point along the Borosa river trail set below a larger Organs Waterfall. The rock formation resembles a human skull with water sometimes passing through the eye sockets. The surrounding canyon walls are vertical and shaded, with mosses and endemic plants growing in damp niches. The waterfall creates a dramatic natural sculpture as water flows directly from the rock face. The combination of solitude, vertical cliffs, and unique formations gives a fairy tale-like sense of place.
